Core Extensions

At the heart of TripleA is a mechanism that allows you to build your own extensions - this is fundamental to quickly creating building blocks specific to your test scenarios. In order to ensure that this mechanism is fit for purpose all of the "Core" arrange, act, assert components have also been built using this mechanism - I "dog-fooded" it to make sure that if you adopted TripleA or wanted to experiment with it you could be building useful extensions in the quickest time possible.

The core extensions provided are...
  • Database - Need to interact with a database? Common db arrange and assert extensions are found here.
  • Web - Allows you to call webpages/services and provides asserts to check the data returned.
  • Windows Services - Allows you to interact with Windows Services.
  • FileSystem - Provides control and assertion extensions for the filesystem.
  • Process - Provides control and assertion extensions for interacting with Processes.
  • Registry - Provides control and assertion extensions for interacting with the Registry.
